Skills & Job Descriptions
- Controls the disbursement of supplies and material through directing the posting of inventory control cards or automated systems.
- Inspects items as to quality and quantity against freight documents.
- Resolves discrepancies in requisitions, purchase orders, and delivery reports by contacting vendors or requesters.
- Stocks materials according to a prescribed inventory system.
- Counts, weighs, and measures goods received or issued.
- Establishes standards and methods for packaging and storing supplies and materials for identification and retrieval.
- Estimates cost and assigns account codes to items purchased.
- Supervises Unpacking of incoming goods and packing of outgoing goods.
- To maintain inward and outward registers of stock received.
- Check the Raw material as per invoice , Challan & P.O.
- Send material for inspection to respective department head.
- Issue raw material as per FIFO system.
- Arrange quotations and negotiation with parties of materials.
- Ability to control issue of actual materials usage over wastage of materials and FIFO & FEFO base.
- Knowledge of RM PM Material and Engineering
