Experience – Min 2+ years exp as Purchase Executive or Senior Procurement Executive from trading of pulses, grains, Seeds, oilseeds, spices, and agricultural commodities in domestic and international markets
Skills and Job Descriptions
- Source and procure pulses, grains, oilseeds, spices, and other agro commodities at competitive prices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, traders, commission agents, and suppliers.
- Negotiate purchase prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Compare quotations and ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Monitor market trends, arrivals, crop conditions, and commodity prices.
- Coordinate with the sales, logistics, and warehouse teams for timely deliveries.
- Ensure quality standards are met before procurement.
- Maintain purchase records, supplier databases, and procurement reports.
- Identify new suppliers and evaluate their performance regularly.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies.
