Experience – 1 to 4 years of overall experience in Procurement Executive or Procurement Engineer or Procurement Manager or Purchase Department preferably in Solar EPC project.
Skills & Job Descriptions
- Define project requirements including capacity, location, budget, and timeline.
Manage the material procurement of project and Quality control for UK, Europe, Africa and Middle east - Determine procurement strategy (e.g., competitive bidding, direct negotiation).
- Identify potential suppliers through market research, industry contacts, and supplier databases.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities, including quality standards, production capacity, and delivery performance.
- Conduct supplier audits and site visits to assess facilities and capabilities.
- Develop procurement strategies and sourcing plans based on project requirements and organizational objectives.
- Source materials, equipment, and services from approved suppliers, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and mitigate risks.
- Manage documents like: Invoice, Delivery challans, E-way bills etc…
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and transparency.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and address performance concerns.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics and implement improvement initiatives as needed.
