Skills & Job Descriptions
- Able to demonstrate experience of working within design and development function with Strong working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD, Solid Edge
- 3D Design Creation: Develop detailed 3D models and drawings for selected proposals, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Lead the team by example , hand holding and developing team. to create a range of 3D models for a number of proposal/production and development systems, products, and components using CAD
- Handling Request for Quotations (RFQs), Design freeze / release, Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis (DFMEA), Production Part Approval Process(PPAP), Design Verification/Product Validation (DV & PV) testing. Preparing the Documentation like Design Qualification (DQ), Installation Qualification (IQ), Operation Qualification (OQ), Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), Operation and Instruction Manuals with Maintenance information. Preparing customer layout and approval drawings.
- Present design, costs, changes and budgetary information effectively to Unit Head.
- Study the User Requirement Specifications (URS) received from customers, and support the Sales team to generate response document and also to submit the quotation based on URS.
- Conceptualise new designs and design revisions
- Provide support to production to improve lead times
- Improve reliability performance to reduce or eliminate warrantable issues in the field
- Deal with parts suppliers, involving Purchasing where necessary
- Manage and develop design and development team to produce a range of concept design schemes for new products as well as updating existing product designs for customers from Pharmaceuticals, Food and Beverages, Chemicals.
